Designer/Builder/Project Manager: Remote Off-The-Grid Residence in Kangaroo Valley, Australia
Nestled in the serene beauty of Kangaroo Valley, Australia, this remote off-the-grid residence stands as a testament to sustainable living. As the Designer, Builder, and Project Manager, I crafted this residence from the ground up, harnessing solar, wind power and water harvesting and taking advantage of the elements to create this eco-friendly haven which harmoniously blends luxury and sustainability. Every detail, from the use of locally sourced materials to the incorporation of passive design principles, hydronic heating and self sustainable living creating a seamless integration with its natural surroundings. This house was completed in 2006.
